SDSBVI Library Services

The South Dakota School for the Blind and Visually Impaired Library is a valuable resource designed to support the educational, recreational, and informational needs of individuals who are blind or visually impaired, as well as their families, educators, and service providers. Our Library can be accessed online through the Northern State University Library at South Dakota School for the Blind and Visually Impaired Library. ​

Free Matter for the Blind:

​All materials intended for individuals who are blind or visually impaired qualify as “Free Matter for the Blind” through the U.S. Postal Service. This means borrowed materials can be returned by mail at no cost to the patron.
